Building the
future of CCT
Funding our next 50 years
For more than 50 years, Cookeville Children’s Theatre has been a place where young people grow—not just as artists, but as confident, creative individuals.
Now, we’re investing in what comes next.
Why this matters
a place to belong…
For more than 50 years, Cookeville Children’s Theatre has been a cornerstone of arts education in our community—reaching hundreds of students and thousands of audience members each year.
Through theatre, young people learn to collaborate, communicate, and step into the perspectives of others. In a world that often feels divided, this work fosters something essential: empathy.
What began as a single space has grown into a vibrant community hub. And with that growth, our space must grow with it.
Growing Needs, Building Momentum
CCT’s programs have outgrown our facility. Spaces designed for one purpose now serve many—classrooms double as dressing rooms, rehearsal spaces function as performance venues, and our infrastructure no longer fully supports the needs of our students, families, and audiences.
With momentum from recent exterior improvements through a CityScape grant, we are ready to continue the work inside—creating a space that better serves our entire community.
Our Goal
$350,000
$150,000 — Retire the Mortgage
Fully pay off remaining debt to secure CCT’s home for the future.
$200,000 — Transform Our Space
Create a flexible, functional facility that supports students, artists, and our growing community.
